DIY Wine Cork Pumpkin | First Taste of Fall

IMG_3691Fall is easily my favorite season. As in, I can’t stand summer. I  figured it’s time to start getting DIY decor ready for fall, so why not post a super quick and easy DIY project to get everyone started and in the spirit?

Now, what you’ll need.

For the Pumpkin:

Wine corks. Make a row that count 4, 5, 6, 5, 4. This will create the shape of a pumpkin later.

Grab some paints! Whatever colors you want.

Hot Glue Gun

Now, with the glue gun, it’s super easy! Just glue the sides of the wine corks together. I glued mine by the row. 4, 5, 6, 5, 4. When each row dried, I glued the rows together and then glued a cork on top for the stem. Now, just grab some paints and paint your pumpkin!

For the sign:

If you want to make the sign as well, The little wooden square came from Michael’s for about 1.59. The letters are from the 3 dollar bin at target, and the paint was the same acrylic paint I used on my pumpkin! The leaf is also 29 cents at Michaels.
