For the record, this is totally a favorite my mom’s made for years. So it’s her idea that I’ve been making all the time since leaving for college! So simple, but so good.
All You Need:
- 1/2 box of bowtie pasta (farfalle)
- 2 chicken breasts, baked
- seasoning for the chicken(I use all-purpose adobo and seasoned salts to give it some flavor)
- Salt and Pepper
- Buffalo Sauce of your choice (I like creamier ones like Moore’s pictured below)
Everything’s pretty simple. I usually season my chicken and bake it on 400 until it’s cooked the way I like it, them dice it into small, bite-sized pieces.
Meanwhile, boil some water and add the bowtie pasta until soft. I usually add a tablespoon of butter once it’s strained.
Once both are ready, throw the pasta and chicken together and add salt and pepper to taste. Lastly, we add the buffalo sauce. I use a ton because I like it to have lots of flavor and be pretty spicy, but start small and add to taste. I like the brand I use for buffalo sauce, as it’s creamier and gives a better flavor than some others I’ve tried.
And you’re done! Super easy, super delicious meal in less than an hour!
