Over time, Boxycharm is the only box I keep coming back to. It gives me better products than other boxes for the price and I’m usually not as disappointed as I am when it comes to some Glossyboxes or Ipsy boxes! I almost didn’t receive my August box, which got here today, because of a shipping issue! Luckily, they were able to send a new one out and it didn’t come too late after August 😉
First of all, the box costs $21. The first item I pulled out is the Doucce MaxLash Mascara, which I found for $24 (Buy here http://go.magik.ly/ml/1m79/). I’m excited for this, I think a lot of the time mascaras that aren’t as known end up being the best ones!
After that is the AloePure Time Repair Serum. It’s $50, which is over twice the price of the box. I’ve only tried it once but am excited to try a new moisturizing serum! (buy here http://go.magik.ly/ml/1m7a/)
The Dirty Little Secret liquid lip in Phantom is $14, really pretty, and a very true, slightly orange red. It might not be great for my skin tone, but the swatch lasted all day, so there’s definitely some staying power! (Check it out here http://go.magik.ly/ml/1m7d/)
I’m not as excited about my Beauty For Real shadow stick in Midnight Marathon, $19, but considering the swatch lasted all day, it’s definitely something people will love! I’m not as big on cream products unless they come from Colourpop, but I’ll definitely try to use it. (buy here http://go.magik.ly/ml/1m7e/)
The thing I was pretty excited about was actually the Coastal Scents blush and bronze palette. It’s actually SUPER affordable, so it makes me feel good to recommend! The bronze shades are really nice, and there’s a great spring blush as well as a darker one that will compliment Fall looks! Coastal Scents is definitely has great pigment for being a drugstore-priced brand. (Find it here http://go.magik.ly/ml/1m7l/)
I’m pretty happy with this Boxycharm. While The blush and bronzer palette is the only thing I was really looking forward to, I think there’s a few nice things from newer brands to try out. Overall, I think it was worth $21! Will you be buying?
